HI. My name is John and I work as a Submarine Cable Route Representative.

My partner Bernadette (Bernie) works with special needs children in Child Care.

After years of renting houseboats on the Murray River river, we decided that the riverside is definitely the place to retire. Bernie and I recently purchased this beautiful home right on the banks of the Murray River in Ravenswood, Western Australia. It is the most exclusive area of the river coming complete with a private jetty and oh so very peacefull surroundings.

However, being the right time to buy real estate does not always coincide with being the right time to move and change employment so we have decided that this home is too beautiful to leave empty while I am away at work and Bernie is stuck in the city.

We invite you to come and relax, take a load off and enjoy the abundant birdlife. Mudlarks, ducks, parrots (with patience) and magpies will feed from your hands or perch on the porch next to you. Waterfowl are in abundance as are Australia's favourite birds, the Kookaburra. Make our home yours while you sit on your private jetty watching the houseboats and fishermen pass by.  It is only a short walk to the local Ravenswood Hotel where you can eat all you like while sitting by the river
